Lakshmi V Menon
Lakshmi Venugopal Menon is currently a Research Consultant at the International Strategic and Security Studies Programme (ISSSP), National Institute of Advanced Studies, Bengaluru. She has contributed to the database on Pakistan relating to CPEC, Balochistan and Pakistan elections 2018.
She is a part of the Conflict Alert team at the IPRI, NIAS.
Her research interests include the following: Peace and Conflicts in Middle East and South Asia, Refugee crisis, Psychological profiling of Terrorists and Human Rights violations in conflict zones. She is currently working on the ISIS in the Af-Pak region and Radicalization.
Lakshmi is a graduate in Psychology from Women’s Christian College, Chennai and a post graduate in International Studies from Stella Maris College, Chennai. Her masters’ dissertation was titled “Radicalization of Youth in Kerala: A Critical Analysis of Psychological Impact of Radicalization on The Youth of Kerala.”
