Pakistan Reader: Special Alert
Pakistan Reader 2024: Our Monthly Publications

  PR Team

About our Publications: Daily and Monthly
We have been covering Pakistan on a daily basis. We publish a daily brief that provides our readers an update of major developments in Pakistan by 1400 hrs every day, along with important editorials and opinions published in leading dailies from Pakistan - Dawn, The News, The Express Tribune etc. Click here to subscribe to our Pakistan Reader Daily Brief.

During this year, we have started Pakistan Monitor, a monthly, that provides a summary of major developments took place during the previous month, categorized under the following sections - Politics, Economy, Energy, Society, Security and External Relations. Monthly Monitors also have short briefs and commentaries authored by young scholars. Kindly find below the links to the PDF files of our Pakistan Monitor.

This is the first year of Pakistan Monitor. We see this initiative as a research endeavour as a part of NIAS Area Studies and also a capacity-building exercise in building a small team of young scholars looking at the Indian neighbourhood. As we move into the second year, we will be grateful for your inputs/comments to improve this initiative further.

About our Annual
Currently, we are working on the “Pakistan Annual,” likely to be published during January 2025, covering major developments in Pakistan relating to politics, economy, society, and external relations this year. We are planning for a release and discussion of the same; we should also be sharing the PDF file about the during January.
