About NIAS-CRPR Conflict Weekly
The “Conflict Weekly” publication at the National Institute of Advanced Studies is an academic endeavour under the Conflict Resolution and Peace Research programme, published every Friday. It is a weekly analysis of the conflict and peace processes across the world covering from East Asia to the Americas.  It looks beyond the traditional geographic definition of conflict by discussing climate change, gender and migration.

The weekly includes focus notes, takeaways, interviews, newsmakers and regional roundups. The focus note answers three questions: what is in the news, what are the issues in the background and what is in perspective. This is a weekly process of collecting developments across the world, identifying focus notes, rounds of in-house discussions and presentations, and editing.

We encourage contributions from young scholars pursuing their undergraduate, postgraduation and PhD at different universities and colleges across India. It is a capacity-building platform for young scholars to enhance their writing, presenting and networking skills.
